Restoring Deleted Files

When you delete a file or document from your system it normally goes to your recycle bin where you can be able to restore it any time you want.


  • STEPS TO RESTORE DELETED FILES
  • Step 1 - Go to Recycle Bin on your desktop. Double click on it, to open it.

  • Step 2 - Inside the Recycle Bin folder, select the file(s) you want to restore, Right click (a list menu will display) click on Restore option. Your deleted item will be restored back to its previous location in your computer system.

TIPS:

To restore deleted files to a different location, after you open the recycle bin, Right click on the item or items, then from the list menu displayed click on the Cut option. Then go to the new location (folder) you want to place them and Right click then click on the Paste option from the list menu.
