Connecting PC to Hotspot

There are several ways to browse the internet with your computer but you will likely need data connection which you can only get from external devices. One of the best ways to be able to access the internet is by connecting your PC to Hotspot by switching ON your computer Wi-Fi signal.


  • STEPS TO CONNECTING PC TO HOTSPOT

    • This is one of the very simplest methods which requires only five (5) steps.

  • Step 1 - First switch ON the Hotspot of the device you want to use. This maybe your phone, tablet or any device of your choice
  • Step 2 - If there is a password on the device hotspot, make sure to take note of it. Or you can write it down, because you will need it for authentication purpose
  • Step 3 - Now, below your PC desktop, in your status bar, at the right side Click on your network icon (which looks like a web globe). This will bring out the available hotspot that is around your PC.

  • Step 4 - Locate your hotspot name and Click on it. This will display the Connect button.

  • Step 5 - Click on the Connect and this will display the input field for you to type in the password of the hotspot you want to use. (Note that if the hotspot doesn't have password, once you click on the connect button, it will connect your PC to the hotspot)
    After this, you are DONE!

CONCLUSION

In this tutorial I believe you have been able to see how you can connect get wifi connection for your computer system using other devices (Phones, tablet etc) when you switch ON their Hotspot.
