I believe you have already come across how you can set your date and time during the windows 10 settings tutorials in module two, but it is also good if you know this step by step just in case you have forgotten it.


  • STEPS FOR SETTING DATE AND TIME
  • Step 1 - Go to your search box input in your status bar, at the left side of your windows desktop, after your windows home logo

  • Step 2 - Type Settings inside the search input box and click on the settings app (This will open your windows settings home page)

  • Step 3 - On your windows settings home page, click on Time and Language (This will open the time and language settings section)

  • Step 4 - On your time and language settings page, Date and Time option is the first option there. You can set your date and time to automatic by clicking on the switch button below the sub-heading Set time automatically. That is, your date and time will automatically use your computer network to set your time and date.

  • Step 4 - If you do not want to set your time and date automatically you can turn OFF the switch and click on the Change button below the sub heading Set date and time manually. This will bring out a dialog box where you can input your time and date manually.

  • Step 4 - After this, you are DONE!

  • ALTERNATIVE (Step 1 and Step 2)

  • ALTERNATIVE I - Click on your windows menu icon at the bottom left side of your desktop in the status bar. Go to Settings Icon

  • Click on it (This opens the windows settings home page). Then Click on the Time and Language settings option

  • ALTERNATIVE II - Go to your desktop, in your status bar, at the right side after notification icon, you will see the time and date displayed in figures. Right click directly on it. (This will open a dialog menu). Move to Adjust time and date and click on it. (This will open the date and time settings section inside the Time and Language settings)
