Duplicating Slides

Duplication of slides has to do with making a copy of a selected slide in PowerPoint. In this tutorial I will be showing you step by step on how to duplicate slides using different methods.

  • METHOD 1
  • Step 1 - Go to the slide tab and select the slide(s) that you want to duplicate

  • Step 2 - Go to the Home tab, inside the Slides group click on option New Slide. From the dropdown list displayed, move downwards and click on the option Duplicated Selected Slides.

  • Step 3 - Slide will be successfully duplicated.

  • METHOD 2
  • Step 1 - Go to the slide tab and select the slide(s) that you want to duplicate

  • Step 2 - Go to the Insert tab, inside the Slides group click only option New Slide. From the dropdown list displayed, move downwards and click on the option Duplicated Selected Slides.

  • Step 3 - Slide will be successfully duplicated.

  • METHOD 3
  • Step 1 - Go to the slide tab and Right Click on the slide that you want to duplicate. From the dropdown list of options displayed, click on the Duplicate Slide option.

  • Step 2 - Slide will be successfully duplicated.

  • METHOD 4
  • Step 1 - Go to the slide tab and select the slide(s) that you want to duplicate and press Ctrl + M on your keyboard.
  • Step 2 - Slide will be successfully duplicated.

NOTE:

Selection on slides in PowerPoint works the same way as normal selection of text. To select slides upwards you can press Shift Key + ArrowUp Key, to select slides downwards, press Shift Key + ArrowDown Key and so on with other selection methods.
