Inserting Special Symbols

In this tutorial I will be showing you how you can insert symbols in your PowerPoint.

  • INSERTING SPECIAL SYMBOLS
  • Step 1 - Go to the slide you want to insert the special symbol, click on the area where you want to add it.

  • Step 2 - Insert tab. Go to the symbols group, and click on the option Symbols (This will display the symbols and equation command options). From that group, click on the Symbols option.

  • Step 3 - The symbols' dialog box will be displayed. From this box you can select the font type you want for the symbols you want to select by click on the Font selection box. The Unicode is displayed at the bottom left corner of this dialog box, the subset at the top right side, while the Character Code is displayed at the bottom right side of the dialog box. After the Character code, you also have option change the character code to either decimal or hex.

  • Step 4 - After you click on the symbol you want to insert, click on the Insert button.

  • Step 5 - The symbol has been successfully inserted. Then click the Close button.
