Screen Recording

In this tutorial I will be showing you how screen record in PowerPoint.

• SCREEN RECORDING
• Step 1 - Go to the slide where you want to the screen record video.
• Step 2 - Click on the Insert tab, go the Media group and click on the Screen Recording option.


• Step 3 - Notice your screen color changes (having a transparent white background). A menu box is displayed at the top center of your entire desktop screen, which is used to Record, Stop, Select Area to Record, Turn On Audio and Turn On Record Point.



• Step 4 - Click the Select Area option and select the area of your screen you want to record. Click on Record option to start recording your screen.




NOTE:

If you want to used audio, it must be selected. Also, if you want to use the Mouse Pointer while recording is going on, it must also be selected.

• Step 5 - After you are done you can click on the Stop to end the screen recording.


• Step 6 - Your screen recorded video will be successfully inserted into your slide.

• FORMATTING SCREEN RECORDED VIDEO
• Step 1 - Click on the screen recorded video you want to format.
• Step 2 - In the menu tab, click on the Video Format tab, which will bring out different groups of related commands for you to use and format the screen recorded video.


• Step 2 (Alternate formatting) - Right click on the video you want to format, from the dropdown list, move to Format Video and click on it, (This will open the format video pane from the right side of your PowerPoint windows) then select the options you want to use and start formatting the screen recorded video.

• FORMATTING SCREEN RECORDED VIDEO (ADDITIONAL OPTION)
• Step 1 - Click on the screen recorded video you want to format.
• Step 2 - In the menu tab, click on the Play Back tab, which will bring out different groups of related commands for you to use and format the screen recorded video.
