PowerPoint - Order Objects

Order Objects

Even if you know how to insert different object into your slide, without properly ordering of these objects your presentation can loose its meaning and become difficult to understand. In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to order object in PowerPoint

  • ORDER OBJECTS
  • Step 1 - First insert some objects into your slide (it can be shapes or pictures).

  • Step 2 - Select the object(s) you want to order. Depending on the object (Picture, Shape, Video etc) in the menu tab, click on either Shape Format, Video Format, Format, Picture Format tab. Then go to the Arrange group; there you will see the options to Bring Forward and Send Backward.

  • Step 3 - When you click on the arrow button beside the Bring Forward and Send Backward, it displays the other options which are: Bring To Front and Send To Back. These four options can be use to order any element that you inside into your slide.

Bring Forward

This command is used to bring the selected object one step forward.

Bring To Front

This command is used to bring the selected object in front of all others objects

3.

Send Backward

This command is used to send the selected object one step backwards.

4.

Send To Back

This command is used to send the selected object behind all others objects


  • ORDER OBJECTS (Alternative)
  • Step 1 - Simply Right Click on the object(s) you want to order. From the options displayed, you with see Bring to Forward and Send to Back.
