Convert SmartArt To Text and Shapes

In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to convert smartart to text or shapes.

  • SMARTART TO TEXT OR SHAPES
  • Step 1 - Select the smartart graphic that you want to convert to text or shapes.

  • Step 2 - In your SmartArt Design tab, go to the Reset group and click on the Convert To SmartArt Graphic button. This will display two options: Convert To Text and Convert To Shapes.

  • Step 3 - When you click on the Convert To Text option, your smartart graphic will be converted to ordinary text.

  • Step 3 - When you click on the Convert To Shapes option, your smartart graphic will be converted to a shape. After successfully converting a smartart graphic to shape, the SmartArt Design tab will no longer be displayed in the menu tab and you can no longer use it commands and options such as changing the layouts and lots more.
