PowerPoint - Translate Document From One Language To Another

Translate Document From One Language To Another

In PowerPoint you can translate text typed in one language to another. For example, text typed in English to French, Spanish, etc. In this tutorial I am going to be showing you how you can do this using the simple steps below

  • TRANSLATE TO ANOTHER LANGUAGE
  • Step 1 - Open the presentation that contains the text you want to translate to another language. Select the text(s).
  • translate-to-another-language
  • Step 2 - Click the Review tab, go to the Language group. click on Translate.
  • translate-to-another-language
    note
    NOTE:

This will require internet connection. Else it won't show up.

  • Step 3 - The translator pane will be opened. Inside the pane, the language you are translating to will be displayed under From Auto Detect (By default the current language of the text is what you will see there: My own case is English).
  • translate-to-another-language
  • Step 4 - Go the To section. Click the small dropdown icon to display all the available languages. Then Click on the language you want the text to be converted to. (In my own case I am clicking on French language option).
  • translate-to-another-language
  • Step 5 - Notice the text inside the To input field has been converted to French. Now click on the Insert button to replace the English language in your presentation with the French language.
  • translate-to-another-language
