How To Insert Calendar

Calendar simply consists of rows and columns with days of week and months. In this tutorial I am going to be showing you two ways which you can insert calendar into Ms-word.

  • METHOD 1 (USING QUICK TABLES)
  • Step 1 - Go to the page where you want to insert the calendar, click on the Insert tab, then go to the Tables group and click on the Table option (This will display a dropdown list of options).
    Move your mouse pointer over the option Quick Tables to display other options. Then click on any built-in calendar style and option you like to insert.

  • Step 2 - Calendar successfully inserted.

NOTE:

You can style the calendar by using the options and commands from the Table Design tab.
And also with this style, you would have to add and edit the 12 months of the year one after the another.

  • METHOD 2 (USING TEMPLATES)
  • Step 1 - Click on the File tab, then click on the New option. Type in the Calendar in the search input field.

  • Step 2 - Wait for the calendar templates to appear.

  • Step 3 - Go through the online template styles and click on the one that you prefer.

  • Step 4 - After clicking on the template that you want to use; another page will display. Click on the Create button.

  • Step 5 - Wait for the template to download.

  • Step 6 - After successful download, a dialog box will display for you to edit the month and year of the calendar. Then click the Okay button.

  • Step 7 - DONE!

To edit and format calendar templates is simple and easy. As soon as the calendar template is insert, the Calendar tab will be displayed in the menu tab. In the calendar tab, there two group commands which you can use for formatting and editing. You can Select New Dates change the Themes, Colors and Fonts
