Focus or Focus Mode is used to hide the taskbar and the ribbons in your Ms-word document so that you can pay full attention to your document area. The focus mode icon is located at the bottom right side of your document close to the document view formats.

Below is how your document environment will look like when your focus mode is clicked. You can get it back to as it were before by pressing the Esc button on your keyboard.
