Preview and Print Document

Once your document is ready, after proper editing and proofing, you can now move to previewing and printing it out. Follow the simple steps below to know how to do this.

  • PREVIEW DOCUMENT
  • Step 1 - Open the document that is ready for preview.

  • Step 2 - Click on the File tab, then click on the Print option. The preview of your document will be displayed in the third column.
    If you have more than one page, you can use the scrollbar to move to other pages.

  • PRINT DOCUMENT
  • Step 1 - Open the document that you want to print out.

  • Step 2 - Click on the File tab, then click on the Print option. The preview of your document will be displayed in the third column for you to check how it will look before printing. If you have more than one page, you can use the scrollbar to move to other pages.

  • Step 3 - In the second column, you can select the printer you want to use, set the copies of document that you want to print and also set your printing options.

    • Print All Pages - This option will print all the pages in your document.
    • Print Current - This option will print only the current page in the preview.
    • Custom Print - Custom print option is used to print specific pages, or page range. For examples if you want to print pages 1 to 5, in the input field below this custom option just type 1 - 5. If you are printing specific pages you want type and separate it with a comma like this: 5,8,10,24 (this will print page 5, 8, 10 and 24.)
    • Print One Sided - This option prints only one side of the page.
    • Print On Both Sides - This option is used print both sides of the page.
    • Manually Print On Both Sides - This option is used print to print on both sides when the print has to wait for you to flip the paper to the second side to print.
    • Collated - Prints multiple pages in a complete set.
    • Uncollated - This is the opposite of collated.
    • Portrait Orientation - This option prints your document in portrait mode (vertically).
    • Landscape Orientation - This option prints your document in landscape mode (horizontally).
    • A4 - This print the document in A4 size. You can select other size options if you want to change it.
    • Custom Margin - Use to set the margin of your document before printing in the preview mode.
    • 1 Page Per Sheet - This option will prints one page in a single paper. You can also print multiple pages using one sheet. Click to select the option you want.

  • Step 4 - After setting the above, click on the Print option at the top second column. Your document will be sent to the printer to print it out exactly the way you have set it.
