Paragraph Marks

Paragraph marks which are sometimes called pilcrow or paragraph symbol is a type of mark or symbol that is seen at the end of each paragraph in your Ms-word document.

  • HOW TO TURN ON PARAGRAPH MARKS
  • Step - In your Home tab, go to the Paragraph group and click on the Show/Hide ¶ button.
    This will display the paragraph mark (¶) at the end of every paragraph and other hidden formatting symbols.

    The keyboard shortcut to toggle paragraph marks ON/OFF is Ctrl + *
    For some keyboard you will have to press Ctrl + Shift + *.

NOTE:

When printing out your document, the paragraph marks will not show.
