MS Word - Insert Icons

Insert Icons

In this tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to add insert icon in Ms-word. Just follow the few steps below.

  • INSERTING ICONS
  • Step 1 - Open the document that you want to insert the icon.
  • Step 2 - Click on the Insert tab, go the Illustrations group and click on the Icons option.

    NOTE:

    This will require internet connection.

  • Step 3 - A window of icon will be opened. You can use the search input to search for the name of the icon that you want to insert.
    Click on the icon to mark it. If you want to insert more than one icon, click on them. After you have finished selecting the icons that you want to insert, click on the Insert button.

  • Step 4 - A downloading dialog box will display showing the downloading progress of the icons. This will only take few seconds depending on how many icons you are inserting at once.

  • Step 5 - Icon(s) successfully inserted into the document.

  • FORMATTING INSERTED ICONS
  • Step 1 - Click on the icon you want to format.
  • Step 2 - In the menu tab, the Graphic Format tab will be selected. This displays different groups of related commands for you to use and format the screenshot.

  • Step 2 (Alternate formatting) - Right click on the icon you want to format, from the dropdown list, move to Format Graphic and click on it, (This will open the format graphic pane from the right side of your Ms-word document) then select the options you want to use and start formatting the icon.
