MS Word - Zooming

Zooming

The need to see clearly or focus on a particular area in your document is necessary. Ms Word provides you with the zoom option so that you can be able to zoom in and out of your document area.

  • METHOD 1
  • Step - Click on the View tab. Go to the Zoom group and click on the Zoom command option. (This will open the zoom dialog box).
    Select any of the zoom option or type in the percentage you want in the Percent input number field

  • Step - Go to the Zoom Slider at the bottom right of your windows document.
    Use you mouse to move the range slider to either left or right depending on whether you want to zoom in or zoom out.

TIP:

Zoom In means making the document area or a particular portion of the doucment bigger, while Zoom Out means making the document area or a particular portion of the document smaller


  • METHOD 3
  • Hold Ctrl and use your mouse scroll to scroll down or up (Zoom In | Zoom Out)
