How To Convert Excel To PDF

Converting an excel worksheet to PDF (Portable Document Format) is very simple. In less than 2mins you can do this, just follow the simple steps below to learn this today.

  • CONVERTING EXCEL TO PDF
  • Step 1 - Open the excel worksheet that you want to convert to PDF. You can create a new document and copy the data in my worksheet in the image below if you don't have any excel worksheet saved on your computer system to use for this tutorial.

  • Step 2 - Click on the File tab which will open the home windows in excel. Click on the Save As option and then click the Browse option in the second column of the window as shown in the image below.

  • Step 3 - Excel will open your file explorer where you can now browse the folder where you want to save your document. Now click on the Save as type selection option as shown in the image below.

  • Step 4 - A list of different document format options will be displayed. Click on the file format PDF(*.pdf).

  • Step 5 - Notice that the Save as type selection field is now changed to the PDF your selected. Also make sure to type in the proper file name you want to save the file with (In my own case I used Sales as the file name). Now, click on the Save button to continue.

  • Step 6 - Excel will take you back to the worksheet and save your document as PDF on your computer.

  • Step 7 - Go to the location in your computer system where you saved the excel worksheet as PDF.

  • Step 8 - Right click on the file. From the list of options displayed click Open. OR you can simply double click on the file to open it.

  • Step 9 - The file will be opened will your default browser as shown in the image below.

  • Step 10 - Zooming in for proper view, you can see it is the same data from the excel worksheet, only that it is saved in PDF format.
