How To Convert Excel To Picture Formats

In this tutorial I will be showing you step by step on how to convert excel worksheet document to any picture format of your choice. Just follow the few steps below and learn this today.

  • CONVERTING EXCEL TO PICTURE FORMATS
  • Step 1 - Open the worksheet that you want to convert from normal excel format to picture. You can create similar data I used in the image below or just create a simple worksheet with random data to follow up with this tutorial.

  • Step 2 - Now first select the data in the worksheet, then go to the Home tab. In the home tab ribbon go to the Clipboard and click on the Copy dropdown down icon to display other list of options. From the two list of options displayed, click on Copy as Picture.

  • Step 3 - Next the Copy Picture dialog box will be displayed. In this dialog box, the appearance section should be As shown on screen and the format section should be Picture.

    NOTE:

    We can't just paste it on our desktop just like that. You will need simple photo editing application. But its best you stick to the one that comes with every windows which is the Paint application.

  • Step 4 - Go to your desktop computer, use the search to search for the paint application and open it. The image below will help you identify the specific paint application if you have others already installed in your computer system.

  • Step 5 - The paint application will now be open successfully. Note to worry, as the application is very easy to understand as it has some similar features.

  • Step 6 - In the Home go to the Clipboard group (which is the first group in the home tab ribbon). Click on the Paste option. OR Simply press Ctrl + V on your keyboard.

  • Step 7 - The excel sheet data you copied will be pasted successfully as shown in the image below.

  • Step 8 - Next, click on the File tab. From the list of options displayed click on Save As which will further display other options. From the options displayed, select the picture format you want to use in saving the picture.

  • Step 9 - After clicking on the picture format you want to use to save the picture, the save as file explorer window will be displayed in other for you to browse (or go to) the location where you want the picture to be saved in your computer system.

  • Step 10 - Type in the name you want to use to save the picture in the File name input field and click on the Save button to save the picture.

  • Step 11 - After successful saving, you can go to the location your computer system to see for yourself that the excel worksheet is now save as picture. You can double click on it to view the picture in your normal system default photo application.

  • Step 12 - ALL DONE! Your excel worksheet has been successfully converted to picture.
