How To Wrap Text

Wrapping of text can be very useful when you want all the text of a cell to be visible when the text is exceeds the cell length. To learn how to wrap text in excel just follow the few steps below.

  • Step 1 - In the excel worksheet below, the first cell contains the text This is an example to wrap text. The sentence is longer than the cell. Now type in the same type in the same text as mine and click outside the cell of press Enter on your keyboard

  • Step 2 - The text in the cell now spans to other cells B2, C2 which makes it look not confusing and not properly arranged. So, what do you do?

  • Step 3 - Select the cell of the text A1. In the Home tab go to the Alignment group and click on the Wrap Text option as shown in the image below.

  • Step 4 - The text will be wrapped successfully as shown in the image below.
